Grapefruit Margaritas

Grapefruit Margaritas are one of my new summer staple drinks! I decided to try these out at our brother and sister-in-law’s gender reveal party, and they were amazing. A good spin on an old classic.

The color of them is pretty eye catching also; Even though they should have been blue since Baby Longsworth is a BOY!

2 shots tequila
1 shot Contreau
1/2 shot agave syrup
1/2 cup grapefruit juice (simply grapefruit, or fresh squeezed
1/4 cup lime juice

Use a citrus squeezer to extract all juice from citrus items. Combine all ingredients in a shake full of ice, shake and pour.

Happy Cocktail Sunday!

  1. Mmmm I can’t use citrus for the life of me acid reulfx and ulcers trust me, not even worth a few sips without health problems in reaction. I SO MISS grapefruit juice fresh squeezed and organic please! I can’t stand blended juice though, way too much foam and ruins the consistency, it’s like swallowing flavored air bubbles!!! I prefer to just toss it in a glass canning jar cup and throw it in the freezer for 20 minutes to chill or just toss in ice right after I make my juice. Craving juice!
