New Year’s in Nashville

These last couple weeks have been a whirlwind!!! Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and the dreaded back to work. Regardless of utter exhaustion; I’m so happy that I’ve been able to go on two amazing trips these last few weeks of 2015.

Nashville is TOPS. Seriously, how does a city ooze “cool” like that? Every place we went to had amazing food, vibe and decor. I kept expecting a let down, but it didn’t happen.

Here’s a little photo recap of my trip, and 5 places you MUST go to:

1. Pinewood Social– Retro bowling, brunch and a photo-op all-in-one.
2. Barista Parlor/ Crema– Hipster coffee at its best.
3. Two Ten Jack– Amazing cocktails, and EVEN better ramen. I was so happy and lulled to sleep by this perfectly rich broth.
4. Husk– Southern food expert extraordinaire, Sean Brock’s restaurant. All meals are dripping with heritage and southern history. This place is a real treat. Watch him on Mind of a Chef, season 2 (Netflix). I literally learned so much from him.
5. The Flipside– The Bloody Mary to end all Bloody Marys.

  3. I’ve been surfing online greater than three hours today,
but I by no means found any attention-grabbing article like
yours. It’s beautiful worth enough for me. Personally, if
all website owners and bloggers made just right content material
as you did, the net can be much more helpful than ever before.

  4. First off I want to say terrific blog! I had
a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior to writing.

I’ve had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there.
I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions
    or hints? Thank you!

    1. Hi!

Thank you so much! For me, I don’t think too much about what I’m writing or trying to be a certain style. When I go back and read my blog posts it sounds exactly like I do. I generally write like I’m talking to a friend, and go from there. I hope that helps!! πŸ™‚
