As the temperatures rise in the city, the last thing you want/need is a heavy drink. Something light and refreshing that makes you audibly say, “ahhhhh” is the goal, right? I have the perfect drink for you.

Drizly’s Rosé Lemonade is perfect for late spring. You have citrus, lavender infused simple syrup and the effervescence of pretty, pink champagne.

Drizly is a beer, wine and liquor service that delivers to your door in under an hour! No more trips to the store during a party when you run out of booze. Drizly will be there to the rescue. Another thing that I really like is that on their site there are tons of drink recipes! You name it, and they have a recipe for you!
This rosé lemonade was one of their recipes that I tried out, and loved!

• 4 oz Brut Rosé Wine
• 4 oz Fresh Lemonade
• 1/4 oz Lavender Simple Syrup

To Make Fresh Lavender Simple Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon fresh lavender

Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar is completely dissolved. Once at a boil, remove from heat and place lavender in to the simple syrup to steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let cool.
To Make Fresh Lemonade:
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (approx. 5-6 regular sized lemons)
1 cup fine sugar
1/2 cup hot water
8 cups cold water

Combine hot water and sugar in a large container and stir to dissolve. Once completely dissolved, add lemon juice and 8 cups of cold water and stir until fully combined. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

1. Fill a tall collins glass with small ice cubes.
2. Next, pour in fresh lemonade followed by the lavender simple syrup.
3. Once settled, fill remainder of glass with rosé.
4. Garnish with fresh lemon slice.
