This weekend Blake, my bestie, Katrina and I made a trek up to Lexington, Kentucky for a friend’s wedding. When you study abroad together, so many memories are made, and a serious bond is formed. My study abroad in London was the best part of my entire college experience: history of modern museum classes, New Year’s Eve celebrations, Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford and Brighton and literally freezing our asses off. Shelby, now Mrs. Back has her own lovely blog, Glitter and Gingham. Check her out, she’s the sweetest soul.
Our Lexington trip was filled with country music sing a longs, bar hopping, brunching, farmer’s market delights, mural hunting and a necessary pit stop in Nashville for Hattie B’s hot (HOT) chicken on the way home.
Some of the places visited were:
· National Provisions
· The Village Idiot
· Molly Brooke’s
· Farmer’s Market
Plus a few more recommendations:
· Local Taco
Here’s a little photo recap of the trip.
